There's another one in NDG: Snowdon bakery.
Here is thelink: http://www.yelp.ca/biz/snowdon-bakery-montreal
Looks horrible from the outside, but fabulous deals to be had inside. I usually get day olds of Russian or pumpernickle for 3/$5, they are fresher than in Loblaws that they sell to! Also they sell fresh stuff/baked today too, but closer to the price you would pay in a regular store. Cheese and chocolate danishes are also delish!

Not anymore (I just went). Their bread outlet is now located at 3933 Ste-Catherine East. It's open from Tuesday to Saturday (closes at 2PM on Saturday) ; they offer a variety of breads for $1.75 (also saw tortillas for the same price).
On my way I also visited the outlet for Christie products, located at 3055 Viau. Prices are not particularly fabulous but there was a bin of dented cracker boxes (Ritz, Premium Plus, etc) selling at 3 boxes for $2.
