Thread: Julep - shady!

I don't know if there's another rant thread on Julep, but it seems they just go and charge you without your consent! I wanted the try the 'welcome' box and I thought that would be all. But they don't even allow the option of whether or not I wanted to keep my subscription. I also noticed on their Facebook there quite a handful of complaints about them.

I'm not a member, but I remember from when I checked it out, and some other SCers use the service.
Not shady - it's clearly outlined by them what date , and even the time, you have to contact them by to skip or cancel.

I've tried them, not shady and no problems at all for me. It's a subscription.
It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.

Maybe they're not as 'shady' as I previously mentioned. However, I still stand by that there should be a heads-up for subscribers to cancel or keep.

Definitely not a scam company. I've gotten a few boxes from them when I have the extra money. If people read the whole page it says:
All plans automatically renew. You can cancel at any time.

The deal with these is you have to cancel by a certain date or they'll send you another and bill you for it. Not shady, but it's a pain if you forget to cancel right away.

I loved Julep and never had any problems with them. I had a subscription for about a year.. I think at regular price they are more expensive per ounce than Channel and Dior though.
