I thought it might be nice to list activities that are free or inexpensive for kids. I only know three open to everyone.

    Home Depot http://www.homedepot.ca/workshops/kids-workshop - free

Musee des Beaux arts - https://www.mbam.qc.ca/en/jeunesse/activites-famille - Free

    Michaels https://classes.michaels.com/OnlineC...t=firstVisits- Small Fee

FYI- My local library also offers a free booklet of community organizations offering very inexpensive and occasionally free classes in my neighborhood. I imagine most boroughs have them but I have heard the classes costs vary in price. My neighborhood offers incredibly affordable classes but registration tends to fill up in one day.

If anyone else knows of inexpensive or free classes for kids please post below.

am out of the loop on this but I did raise my 3 kids as a single mom in London. We:
Went to the drive in kids were free only paid for me and got pizza as our snack -not the same as today but think you can get a pepperoni pizza for 5bucks
    Small town fairs
Conservation areas -rock glen is a really good one
    Children's museum in London
    Library programs
Check locally but we used to be able to watch sprint car races for free
I see there is cooking for kids rcss don't know if it costs
My kids now grown have probably been to every park around us..lol I remember when one of them had a class trip to a park that we went to at least once a week just outside of the city. They were so disappointed because it wasn't new to them.
Plenty of free or almost free stuff for kids. You just have to look around.
