My mother used to use a carrot peeler to pit cherries. You just stick the end of the peeler in where the stem would be and the pit just pops out. I would think that they might get mushy when you thaw them like strawberries do. So they would be good for baking. But, then, you've done this before so you know better than I do!

o my, look at the line, reminds me of the line up outside the new ride today at Wonderland!, lol, a 2 hour wait for a 3 min ride....crazy heh.....those cherries is good for making jam I guess.

Really Jealous here in Alberta!! Personally I would pit some of them for pies or cherry crisp but that is just me, pitting is not a fun job!!

Cherry jam (250ml jar sells for about $3.49 in Hamilton) and cherry preserves... And why not, a cherry pie!
