My .20 cent brag

It's been a long time since I posted in here, and this is just a tiny one, but hey, money is money! I went to CoOp yesterday to pick up a few things I needed. And after my coupons and 3 gas coupons, it cost me a grand total of .20 cents

I used 5 $1 bushes beans coupons, a $3 van Houtte coupon ( it was in clearance for $3.29) the light bulbs were in clearance for .25 each and the bourbon chicken mix was a blow out at .49 each ( regular $1.89). I use 3 gas coupons to cover the balance and walked out of the store smiling!

We purchase all our gas/diesel at CoOp gas bar. Every time we do, we get a coupon worth .03cents for every litre we purchase. I use them in the CoOp grocery store. Yesterday dh gave me 1 for $7.91 (he filled the rv up) Then in February of every year I get .07 cents a litre back in form of a cheque that I do what I want with. Also, after the age of 65, you can cash in your shares, or keep them growing. At this point, if we cashed them in, we would get over $11,000 but we just leave it there. We've been members of CoOp for WOW, over 30 years!

I find the coupons extremely helpful, especially around Christmas, Thanksgiving, stuff where you need extra, or on clearance stuff.
