@ Mrs. S. I don't really know per say but I have in the past purchased cake flour and found no difference but it might have been the type of cake or baking, etc....You might want to do a google you might just be able to add something to your flour and presto = cake flour

MrsS Hope you found some ambition, I managed to get our bathroom clean (still need to do the floors) and laundry is almost done. Still a lot to get done but at least I got a start on it.

Quite sick today. Looks like a reminder not to sweet the small stuff. MIL showed up and took kids today. Bless her heart. Been sleeping and watching TV.

Hi all, busy not so frugal holiday on the calorie front. Lacrosse tournament is over and today we did the Museum of History. It's all Canadian and very cool. Topped it off with a beaver tail at the Bytown market. Yummy. Now I am sitting on the balcony of the hotel watching logan on the water slide. The hotel gave us the tournament rate for the next three nights and it is super easy to get around.
If you are ever in Ottawa here is a total cool frugal event. In summer they do a really cool light show on the parliament buildings and it's FREEE. everyone loved itFriends don't let real friends pay full price.

then the icing im trying to work with to make decorations for the cupcakes im making .. are not working.Be Strong

Mrs. S. is the fella with the part time job or the full time guy regardless it seems a little harsh not knowing exactly what went on. But I sure hope that the other son is treated better than the 1 that was let go. But your son that got let go after working 2 days should still get paid.

What I am finding is whether I am tired or lacking in motivation I still have to get moving and look after my Mum-who is having a slow but steady recovery. Kind of liking having a newborn-you have to get up and feed them-haha no sleeping in for me. My DH and DD are having fun on our family holiday. I was hoping maybe I could join them when my brother gets back Thursday night but he is working and I don't think SIL will have the patience to look after Mum and fair enough-Mum does have 5 kids and one of us should be. 2 live out of the country, the other 2 work so that leaves me. Anyway I am happy to look after her and if I can't hop on a plane Fri my family will come home 9 days later so no big deal-a first world problem. At least ther is Skype! No idea what my husband is spending while they are away but I seem to be eating my brother' food and no time to shop so frugal month for me-lol. I see it is to be 28 degrees on Wed so I can give Mum another camp shower and shampoo on the deck! F/U apt for Xray and staple removal is to be Thursday a.m.
