Vote Request - Rules - Pls Read Before Posting

Welcome to the SmartCanucks Vote Request forum

All members, including new members, are welcome to post here however we do have a few rules in place to ensure the forum is fair for all

• You may post one thread only asking for votes and only in this forum. Posting additional threads will result in your threads being deleted.
• Start your own thread for each contest, if someone else is in the same contest, you may not post your link in their thread.
• ALL contests must be family friendly, do not ask people to vote in contests that are not work/child safe. SC is a family forum and many people access the site with little ones or co-workers around who would not appreciate the shock value.
• If you are new, please remember that some threads are auto-moderated and you may not be able to post links right away. Do not spam the forum to be able to post a link. Moderation of these posts are done as the moderators have time after regular moderating so please be patient.

Please include an expiry date with your thread so that it is expired at the end of the contest.

• If you want people to vote for you, vote for them too. You may post a link to your request in the comments of their post.
• Actually vote. Not only is it very obvious when you say you voted for every active thread (including those contests that have closed) in just a few minutes, but you want people to actually vote for you - so be fair and actually vote.

Tell people what they need to do. It is frustrating when people ask for a vote, but do not tell you how to vote.

• Please post a direct link to your contest if available
• If not, post a screenshot of the entry. It will help you by people not giving up looking for a random entry
• If it requires a login or facebook access, say so in the title

Finally, some people do not vote for new people, time is limited and they prefer to concentrate their time on those who are contributing members of the site and not people who have just signed up for votes. Stick around, get to know people and you will find that you are much more likely to get votes.
