At 3 different Walmart stores in Brampton, we were told we could only use a total of 10 coupons per checkout. They still apply the maximum of 6 of the same coupons.
Customer Service informed us the changes are being applied to all Walmarts in the region starting July. Is this happening to anyone else?
Because we had 12 coupons, we were allowed to do 2 separate checkouts, but were gently informed "only for this time".
With this procedure change, we'll have to organize our coupons to multiple checkouts (so inconvenient). This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

I think its better than target where u are only allowed to use 4 cpns. I haven't had the issue yet at my location.

Truthfully, I seldom ever find more than 10 of the same items on the shelf at Walmart anyways so no stocking up with coupons like I could many years ago!

I rarely buy 4 of anything so doesn't affect me. Maybe you can go shopping with someone and have them do the separate transaction for you? If I do need to go over limits on stuff, I give the $ to either DH or dad for them to pay

In was told at my local target only 4 total. I questioned it and was told by another employee only 4 coupons total for transaction.

A walmart I use to frequent but don't so much anymore has told me its 6 coupons per transaction and none of them can be duplicates. So if you had two of the same toothpaste coupons and wanted to buy two products they won't allow you to use both coupons.
I really made sure and asked them to clarify this new "policy" to me as it made little to no sense to me because even people who aren't extreme couponers can easily use more than six in a single transaction and I have seen it before. But alas I heard the same story two different occassions I went to that store as well. Luckily Walmart locations are as common as Mc Donald's locations.Insert Clever Signature Here
