NOT a fan of summer

Its too humid, people are sticky/cranky/smelly, animals get sluggish. We have an AC and it still gets to be too much once in a while. Have the AC and fans going give me headaches from all the background noise. Walking to work can choke you up just from humidity, and having to drink more water on the walk means I have to run to the little girls room more.
Customers complain about how cold it is in the store, or about how hot it is outside.

Ugh, give me fall! Heck, give me winter! (most of the time, those minus stupid temps are a little annoying when walking the 20 minutes to work)

I'm with you about not liking the heat, but I sure wish we had a/c! I don't care how much noise it makes!

im the same. wish it was October all year long! at least in cooler temps its easier to sleep & do yard work ...oh & Breathe!

I've always thought September is the best month of the year. Not too cold or too hot.

Thankfully Summer's only 2 months so we don't have to suffer long. lol

i use to hate summer, but now with my new a/c it's more bearable

but i do agree, with the stench of foul body odor from people is disgusting

I've always hated summer and people think I'm nuts. Maybe if I ever have a house with central air then I'll reconsider the season, even still though it sucks with all the darn bugs biting as well. My favorite seasons go in order starting with fall.

I prefer cold and snow (although not on the road and side walks).

This summer hasn't been that bad here - a few humid days, but we have been getting a nice breeze in the backyard, so we just sit under our gazebo and watch the fish in the pond. Having a pool helps too!

Honestly though, I do not go outside much when it's crazy humid. We have A/C in the house (we even have window A/C units in our bedrooms, as there is no insulation and we like it cold when we sleep at night) and A/C in the car. The most I ever really have to be without air is walking from the car to the store to do the grocery shopping (but that can be a pretty darn hot trip too)!

I'd say the most difficult place to be in the summer for me is when I take our dog to visit the residents of our local retirement home. The halls are air conditioned, as well as most rooms - but most residents have their rooms ridiculously warm. My dear Ike is panting by the time we get done in the first room. And most of the residents are wearing sweaters and blazers!

I completely agree though on people being cranky when it's hot - I've noticed that a lot this summer.

I agree I love fall. Last year it felt like fall was so short, like it only lasted 2-3 weeks. It really felt like it went from high 30s and humidity to snow storms a few weeks later.

im on the fence. im sorta with toronto gal. sort not.
i hate winter for walking, slipping. can do a real number on my back.
however i love winter cuz it has christmas

i love summer for the fact i can walk easily no issues, (unless its raining). we now have a/c. heat flashes are enuf thanks.
i don't like the bugs.
i guess for me May and September are perfect ish too.

I'm completely with you on this one. Winter is sheer and utter hell for me. Bring on summer, the hotter the better. You'll never hear me complain about the heat and humidity. I hate going to stores in the summer because they're always freezing.

I think I'm with you guys on this one. I enjoy the heat, especially when visiting friends at the lake and we have central air. I'm way more cranky when its freezing out and I'm stuck in the house or trying to drive on the ice.

In NWO we get 8 months of winter, nevermind anymore! We've only had a few nice days so far, it's always raining.
