They are also great at substituting items when an advertised sale is out of stock, even if the sub item if more expensive regularly

That makes life so much easier.
I've had that happen at Freshco too when the price didn't ring in. The cashier asked if I remembered the price and I did and she just punched it in. Usually they get the stock guy to come and get the price.

I adore Target for reasons like this! Always wonderful customer service! DH went shopping with me last week and was amazed at how great everyone is, he said know he knows why I'm addicted to Target. lol

I had the same thing happen to me the last time I was there. It made shopping and checking out a much more positive experience. I much prefer Target to Walmart but Walmart is so much closer to my house.

I've always had great customer service with Target.
No matter the location, I've said the price was wrong, and they correct it without hassle.
The only time they double checked was if something 'should have been' marked down to a clearance percent and it wasn't scanning.
