Free Dove body washes, after CO51 and printables.

Went by today to use my fpc's today. Too nice not to take the kiddos out for a walk. Got 2 boxes OB tampons (fpc), Jergens moisturizer (fpc), 2 dove 4pks soap (1.50 Cpn + 1.50 Co51), 2 rolls black glitter tape .25 each, 3 Despicable Me 2 Pez dispensers .75 each, 2 Pez refills .75 each. Not bad, but I seriously considered leaving it all after the 25 minutes it took the cashier to ring it up. Apparently they received an update to their system with no warning nor training, and it was a biggie. It changes they way they input everything (like coupons) completely. It took 25 minutes of trying to process the coupons and guessing at how their computers would work. Not the cashier's fault at all, she was doing her best to figure it out. But seriously Shoppers can we get it together, nervous about what this means couponing will be like and how it will adjust how our optimum points are calculated. Hope it was only first day hiccups. Anyone else couponing at Shoppers today? How'd you do at the til?

Well since you shopped are there any differences on your receipt, like did you get base points for fpcs, does it still say 2002 for fpcs, etc? Did your other coupons go in as 2001 and did you still get points on them?

I got free Colgate Sensitive aka my fav toothpaste ever using traded FPC and get another one for 99 cents using $2 traded coupon; they were for $2.99 One will go to my bro and another will be mine!

So the one thing she attempted, was to clear all items scan the product with fpc, as soon as she scanned the FPC. The machine processed it as payment and printed the receipt. So she did this twice, of course because of all the hassle my Optimum was not used, you'll see receipt shows I should have earned 500 pts. Plan to call in as soon as I get a chance, been a busy few days. So yes to base pts on the FPC I guess. Then the others she finally figured out but the receipts show coupon and the price not codes anymore. It shows after the the total which seems a little weird when you read it. It took me a few reads, at first I though I paid $20.86, but then you see after the coupon that the debit card was charged $12.87. And she did do a post shop update to put the optimum points (180) on, just didn't remember the other 2 receipts. As the line-up was getting crazy and it had already been 20+ minutes, I didn't say anything just planned to call it in myself. Just doing the post-shop update took 10 minutes, as the computer had to pull up the receipt and was loading each item at a minute+. Craziness.

Yes I spent 45 minutes at SDM arrr and they have new system where they actually scan your coupons! So I am not sure what is going on.

Interesting. Well this could be a good thing. I've had a feeling they would revert back to awarding points on fpcs, although it may mean paying the tax again. I haven't encountered anything different yet in the past few days.

The store down the street from me is closing (they're opening a new one a few blocks away), and while most things are being packed up and moved, there are a couple crazy deals to be had. They have a bunch of John Freida (a bunch of different kinds, like Sheer Blonde and Brilliant Brunette) shampoo/conditioner 2 packs on clearance for $7 - but they actually ring in for just under $3! I also had a $5 off coupon when you buy 2 John Freida conditioners (and they were on sale for $3 each...)

Anyways, I got 7 John Freida shampoos, 9 John Freida conditioners, a Pantene Pro V Product ($1), and a Herbal Essences Product ($1) for ~$20 total...
