There were 2 manager's sticker coupons on one product. Cashier entered one as 2024, the other as 2021. Neither amounts were counted in my base points.
Thank you @super807 , good to know. I think I might start checking the back of the stickers then, if they say 2024/21 I'll have to buy more to meet the limit. At least this way if they mistakenly enter them as 2024/2021 I can correct the cashier or add items when checking out. Might do a test shop when I get another low point offer. Note that my first shop above, I didn't get the base points, but did get the bonus points.

It's not a mistake they're doing. The manager coupons actually have codes on them 2020 (50 cents) 2021 (1.00) 2022 (2.00) 2023 (3.00) 2024 (4.00) 2025 (5.00). Most Shoppers haven't been using these codes for the longest time but instead using 2004...but now Shoppers is starting to enforce it more often unfortunately.

Bananas are being sold at sdm here for 79cents each. Ouch. Definitely not a best sdm shop. I wish lob laws would get rid of pc plus and take on optimum points in rrcs, Lob laws, no frills, etc. They'd almost hold a monopoly. Lol

Regular price for bananas at Metro/Sobeys and some RCSS in my area is 79 cents, actually was at Metro yesterday and they were 89 cents. I used to buy bananas two years ago regularly at Shoppers, regular price was 69 cents but I'd wait for clearance. We eat alot of bananas. That store no longer carries them. My local store with regular produce have prices comparable to Metro/Sobeys but they put them on clearance early so are always a good buy.

lol, ok so now I'm confused again. Shop 1, 2022 code $2 off sticker, didn't receive base points but received digital points 3k. Shop 2, 2024 code $4 off sticker, didn't receive base points or digital points 4k.
I guess it must be a problem with the product. I think I'm back to emailing Shoppers about it.

Checking the codes first wasn't going to work anyway. I shopped yesterday and in order to check the code I would have had to half remove the sticker which I won't do.

The code is on the back, which is usually a flap as they tear at the perforated edge to get the coupon off.

79 cents at RCSS each or per pound? If it is each then that is very expensive; buying 6 bananas would be almost $5. in GVRD, RCSS sells bananas for 77 cents per pound but nothing close to 79 cents each at SDM.

Oh, I misunderstood, I thought you were referring to per pound. Agree, your prices are very expensive. When I bought Shopper's bananas they were prebagged, in 3lb bags I believe, like you would see at Costco or Giant Tiger. My prices were per pound. Yours sounds like downtown location prices, like competing with Sobey's UrbanFresh type store.
