I tried doing the check in at 2 targets this weekend. Merivale road and kanata in Ottawa. Couldn't get either of them to work, wifi on bluetooth on, and data plan in full effect. Nothing? Maybe the Ottawa targets are not registered yet?

Same happened to me in Hamilton. It said something about location services not being on?

You have to enable location services on your device in order for the apps to be able to send your coordinates. Look under settings.

It was on, and the little arrow head was in the status bar. Said something about store might be part of changio yet?

If you turned on everything on your phone, still can't check in, It might be the phone is not surpport this function, it has pretty strict rules on the device "changio check in offer will only work on devices that suport blutooth LE, this includes iphone4s or higher, ipad 3 or higher, android devices include nexus 4 or higher, galaxy s3 or higher, and other android devices running android 4.3 or higher“


my old HTC one V won't work with this function since its only android 4.0

I had the same problem. I emailed them to find out if my store was not included but I haven't heard back from them.

Check-in didn't work on my iPhone 5. Location services on, LTE connectivity, Bluetooth on, Wifi on, still got an error message when I tried to check-in at Toronto Eaton Centre and Target.

Worked for me with Android 4.4

Thanks for the UPC codes. I uploaded a receipt for $40+ from WM this evening. Not including the fact that I took advantage of their great sales, I saved nearly 50% ($32) in coupons alone. :) I'm quite happy with that.
