we went to home depot and rented on - $35 for a day
to get one dry cleanned hubby said it went to a place near winona but i have to ask him

Yea my mom said she actually went to Home Depot but they told her they don't do that..:/
/ maybe if there's a good product out there that deep cleans rugs I could try that too.
tried the oxy stuff but it didn't do anything.

Try calling Queenston Rent-alls to see if they have a Bissell upright carpet cleaner or the Bissell Auto-Care Pro-heat unit. Canadian Tire sells Bissell 2x Auto Cleansing solution (might want to compare prices to see if a) flyer has a special offer on that product or 2) you can find it for less somewhere else. Maybe someone you know has a unit?
I've used both machines-the upright unit was from a brother's friend. I tried to clean the living room carpet-the general carpet perked up but the long-term dirt marks did not get released. So if you can live with that outcome and have a morning or afternoon to let the rug dry with open windows after cleaning (you might want to put down paper towelling on top of rug to help absorb the moisture from the rinse part of the cleaning).
