So glad you are done and at home hon!! Get all rested up and throw yourself a party. Or at least get yourself something to mark this milestone. A nice shiny rock of some kind perhaps?

Oh walks I've been bumming around all day today and it's been nice! Lynn I think it's the angle I took the picture from lol I was not about to get on the floor to take a picture so I just stood over it and was looking down at it, but yeah it wasn't a comfy thing at all. If I lived in a house I would totally put it in the garden and plant flowers, that way they could grow up through the holes and spring new life from it! I think that would be symbolic. :) But if I could scare some children that works just as well. haha
ticul thank you, I will rest a lot in the coming days! Horndogg thank you, you aren't having brain/head radiation are you?
Thank you wolfwoman, but a party? lol I'm enjoying sleeping in my bed so much right now that IS my party. However a rock is a good idea, I should hint to the hubby about that one! But for now this Rock will work. He looks like a nice young man. ;) His teeth even shine. lol

A pair of smokin' shades and the perfect shade of lipstick. . . no one would even notice that little ol' bald patch! Welcome Home! :)
Glad you are done and can have some rest - and less stress! :)

Tara, good to read that you have finished your treatments! Take care! :flowers:
Thanks Kitty, I'm enjoying the 8-9hrs sleep I'm getting at home a night. That's nice. :)
I have a question for anyone that's had radiation. Have you had moles pop up during/after treatment on your radiation treatment area? Like really dark ones? I saw my family Dr yesterday and there is a very dark black mole on my right temple that wasn't there before treatment so he looked at at with a magnifying glass. He said the shape of it is fine, the colour isn't but he said it would have to be removed after I heal. After I left his office I thought "why?". Not being a Dr I figure it's because it's black and because it was brought out by radiation, however, I will ask my Oncologist about it when I see him Nov 17 because my Dr did say it couldn't be removed soon because it/I wouldn't heal properly having it removed from that area having just had the radiation anyways.
You have a good family doctor.
I am not an expert.
I think he is looking at changes in shape, colour, symmetry and borders.
He said shape was o.k.
He may see a change in colour.
If you like, you can ask him to send you to a dermatologist. The skin doctor can answer your questions better than me.
Glad radiation is over.
i'd call or get the hubby to call one of your doctor's and ask what they think.
surely although it is the weekend someone would get back and hopefully
put your questions to rest tara.
as for the hair, hell it is almost winter, and everyone needs a hat eh?
hoping you don't get bothered by that side affect.
pretend you are walter white --- shoot of course don't do that,
silly me.
hugs tara, glad you are home :)
Hi, Tara....I just have a minute or two, we have our grandson this weekend, so it's busy....I agree with Chives about calling your Oncologist and letting him know about that development. He's the one who should assess the mole, or at the very least be apprised of it. I'm sure it's nothing, since your doc wasn't alarmed, but still...your oncologist should know.
Hope you're enjoying your sleep and your home, and I hope it's nice enough there for a walk; it's drizzly here, so no such luck, not that I can walk anyway...:)
Take good care, Sweetie-Pie...! Gentle hugs......
:)...I've just been called away to do some "crafts" by our grandson...he loves my craft-room and has now gone downstairs to retrieve some stuff. Unfortunately I can't go down those stairs...I think we'll make a necklace for his Mom for him to give her tomorrow when they're home. Hubby will have to search through my...ahem...well-organized clutter there...hey, I know where everything is!!!
I can't reach the cancer centre until Monday morning but I will call my Oncology Nurse and let her know so she can let my Oncologist know, that way he can put a referral into the dermatologist. This mole just popped up like about a week ago and it's black, it's the colour that stuck out at me.
Oh mad I have tons of fluffy hats for the cold weather so I'm set! Oh Lynn enjoy your time with your grandson, and hey, you could always have your grandson organize your stuff for you. Oh wait, don't do that. lol
good that you noticed that mole Tara, and once you have some more advice on what to do about it you'll feel even better. So great that you can actually enjoy restful sleep for extended periods now at home. Btw, Dwayne Johnson is signed on to do a Baywatch film!!
