Favourite writers are Victor Hugo (Les Misérables and Hunchback of Notre Dame) and Alexandre Dumas (The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers). I love these classics and can read them over and over again.

Oh my... I have such an extensive list of favorite authors that it
would be difficult to choose one or two. I've been a library rat
since I was a child and voraciously read hundreds of books a year.

Hmmmm, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook in no particular order although I've gotten off King a bit.

Oh and of course Shakespeare.....NOT.... sorry to my aunt who tried to shove it down my throat from the time I was 2 but I would have preferred you read me Dr. Suess.

Love James Patterson... I have his entire collection in hardcover
and recently started with Lisa Jackson paperbacks. Had more but
when we moved, I had to severely trim down I've been selling
off my hoard on Kijiji to make room for new titles.

Just discovered Dickens properly thanks to free e-books.
    Pterrry Pratchett.
Zimmer Bradley and McCaffrey for non-thinking sci-fi/fantasy. C J Cherryh for something a bit harder.
    Jared Diamond.
