Apple cider cups
For cider lovers, we propose you an original way to have it into an apple. You will need:
Large apples
Lemon juice
Apple cider
Optional: cinnamon, star anise or cloves.
Cut the top of the apple and around the outline with a knife. Empty it with a spoon and sprinkle with the juice inside to prevent rust.
To finish, fill up with your apple cider and optionally you can add cinnamon, cloves or star anise spices to enhance flavor. Delicious!JOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

I don't drink a lot (alcohol drinks) When I do, I like a really nice spicy cesar with pickled asparagus. I like to make fresh lemonade year round. It's really cheap to make when I'm in Texas as all the lemons I want are free, well in December, January and February anyways while they are in season. I make a simply syrup ( I always have a container full in the fridge so I can just take what I need), and I mix 1/2 cup of simply syrup, 8 cups of ice cold water, the juice from 5 lemons, the rind of 1 lemon, and then stir it all together. Then I add thin slices of 1 lemon. I will slice a bunch of lemons into thin slices, I put them in a container and freeze them. When they get added to the lemonade, they act like the ice cubes, only they don't water down the taste. I find this so refreshing. Also, I know exactly how much sugar is in it, unlike the stuff that you get in the canister and mix with water.

Just another tip if you like making fruit drinks. Cut up a watermelon (seedless) into ice cube size pieces and freeze it. Since a watermelon is 92% (of it's weight) water, it freezes solid, just like ice cubes, but when you add it to your drink, it doesn't water it down. I add it to smoothies sometimes (depending on the flavor I'm making) instead of ice.
