Ashley don't feel guilty perhaps drop by their home and leave the gift this way they know you went out of your way (if that's possible) otherwise send it along and don't worry about it. things happen and life is super busy and your plans with your mom to memorialized your grandparents is way more important in my opinion

DH & I sat down and did our budget for September today, his approach is way different than mine but heck it's worth a shot right to have him on board and involved!!! WIshing everyone a frugal September which is just around the corner....eek....

Up to my eyeballs in cukes and apples these days....canned another bunch of bread and butter pickles (now 47 - 500ml jars in total) and applesauce....we should be well stocked for the year lol Managed to take a break and walk with a friend by the river....now it's back to work!

spent the day with dh and leisuring. went to the movies to see 'If i stay'. hmm . ok.
its warm here.. going to cool off though.. think i'll just park my butt in the basement and do laundry, so much cooler.
did anybody catch the price of PB this weekend. $2.44 for a 1kg. wow. great deal.

Home from hockey tryouts. Equipment hanging out to dry. Dinner in the works. Sink full of hot soapy eater to wash up dishes. Dishwasher ready to start at 7. Laundry ready to start at 7. Gotta keep at it tonight to get stuff done bit I'm tired already.

I found this Bryers icecream for 50c each at Target in Regina today. I picked up the last chocolate one for my lunch. I think the rest of it was only vanilla.

Had my annual theatre date with a friend today at Grand Bend. We saw Les Mis...not my type of show. We used to go to Blythe but found we like Grand Bend much better.

made 5.00 from kijiji today(selling lace)-so 38.00 in total -not a lot but hey adds up -right frugalmama
-did 2 loads loads hung and dried very quick on this hot day
had my sister-in-law and 18 year old niece over for supper -we had bbq chicke -chicken rice -fresh green beans-raw broccolli -cherry tomatoes from my garden-it was so nice they haven't been in life for the last few years(cant get into it)but it makes me happywe had fruittare for dessrt-mango ones yummy

it's never to late to start fresh, great job on having them over for supper and big step them accepting as well, great things coming forward from this new beginings. Awesome on the extra $ you are making selling stuff you no longer need or selling for your kids too.
