CNE was a ZOO and a half today. Saw a stand in the food building for Aquafresh and Tums samples (like in previous years), but no one was handing out samples.

Only freebie I got was a can of coke with my name on it (pretty rad!) It was in the international building

Nice find, torontogal12! Good that the machine is there for the coming long weekend too. Pity that the youth free admission day was Aug. 26-they missed out on the fun.
Zoo and a half-people are getting in their last week of summer fun before the return of school. Great weather for CNE though! This Sat & Sun will be muggy-beverages will be selling and slushie drinks too.

Were there any major shopping crowds in the warehouse sale section of the Direct Energy Centre? or in the Better Living Centre? They can be big or meh.

Crowds were really busy in the midway, so getting into the buildings were the problem.

Better Living Centre was very easy to navigate. Direct Energy Centre was slightly worse, but I actually think they have less booths this year. The vendors seem to be more spaced out in the aisles, so that creates more space to move around.

I am guessing the crowd was huge because its been so cold and there was actually nice weather yesterday.

If it makes you feel better, they give you a can to drink while you are waiting in line! The line was maybe 10 mins long. But it's one per person so you'll have to line up again if you want extras
