I will keep you in my thoughts this week for sure.
i'll pray for you and think of you
thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
Chemo went well today. I'm a little tired I did not sleep well last night. So right now I'm going to have a nap for a bit.
God Bless you all at SC
Good to hear that all went well, if you are tired rest as much as you need to, I used to be completely knocked out for about a day and sometimes more without even a sip of water, but then things get better :couch2:

Horndogg, I'm happy to hear things went well for you your first day out there. They say first impressions are everything, I wish mine had been better lol I hope you have a great week as well, keep trucking on! :sweet:
Hi everyone time for to check in the first day chemo went well but boy was I sick after that. And all day Wednesday and most of today. I am just laying down and taking it easy. Boy I feel lazy. I still can't eat much and the toilet is still my best friend right now. The anti nausia pills don't seem to work much right now.
I hope you are ok Tara I'm thinking of you alot everyday. Love you.
I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling good after the chemo treatment. I hope that you rest up and eat/drink what you can. I'm comparatively "healthy" and am still going to go for an afternoon nap while our 2yr old is napping.
Oh, so sorry for your nausea, Hon....do you have any stuff to replace your fluids, like Gatorade for your electrolites, although I'm sure there's better stuff out there, or Ensure, Boost? Would they help you get your strength back?
Rest, Sweetheart.....you continue to be in my prayers...
Horndogg be sure to speak to your Oncology nurse or chemo nurse asap about the nausea, that will dehydrate you FAST. That's what landed me in the ER twice last week. NOT fun. Especially if you are praying to the porcelain God as much as you are. You sound like you may need a switch up in the anti nauseant meds, and definitely rest. Please call your nurse and talk to them about the nausea. Take it easy, only do what you can,and if that's only rest, only rest. I'm sending you my love.
Good Luck Hun :top:
If possible, try to eat some watermelon, is cool for your stomach and will hydrate you as well.
Re read your first post....my hair started falling out after 2 weeks of starting chemo and now growing back, shaved it all off once I started to resemble Gollum , since I had ovarian and got the ovaries etc. removed, I have been having hot flashes like crazy and a bald head wasn't too bad.
thank you I will try some watermelon. All the food I am trying to eat tastes different right now. I just don't know what to eat.
Tomato soup with crackers went down ok today, but I am trying to eat toast with Peanut Butter to help with pills, Yuck! Cold water is good too but not very nutricious.
God Bless you all. Thinking of you too Tara. I hope everyone has a good weekend. The VON is going to teach me how to give myself shots to boost my white blood cells.
Thank god for CCAC they are paying for my meds, as we have no coverage.
Thinking of you. Hope you are feeling better! :)
Rest well Horndogg! This should make you smile, too. :)

Hope you are feeling better, prayer offered on your behalf.
I hope you're feeling better, been thinking about you.
Hang in there, I know you're a strong person and every day is one more day towards recovery. Eating is one of the most important ways to keep your body moving in the right direction. I know at one point, everything, I mean EVERYTHING tasted like tin. It didn't matter if it was a chocolate shake or a bowl of spaghetti. It's really hard to have any type of an appetite when you know what everything's going to taste like, but you need all the vitamins for your body. Ensure or boost were my go to, and now they have ones full of electrolytes so there not so milkshake like. Hopefully you will be able to get some of that into you and keep it down. Can you keep some popsicles nearby? And of coarse anything that's dry, like crackers, toast and the like.
Ginger tea was a good one for me on my last go-round. Perhaps you could give that a try.
Will they give you an anti-nauseant by IV? Have they tried giving you Notalone? It was one of the ones I was given (it's goes in by IV), but it worked pretty well.
I hope you have a good day today, and try and remember that tomorrow will be better than today, and so on. Before long we'll have you up doing a little dance :)
Hello, I hope you're feeling a little better by now =) I agree with the previous post that nutrition is critical to help your body on its way to recovery, the body relies on it to stay strong. Finding high quality supplements might be a good option if you're not sure what to eat.
Keep fighting!
Still thinking of you, hope you are feeling better. Prayer offered on your behalf.
I've been thinking of you and hoping things are going okay for you.
