Chemotherapy Starts Soon

Hi everyone I have not been on here much. Everything is going good round 2 of Chemo went much better, I know what I cannot eat and what I can try to eat. Did not get as sick with round 2 as I did with the first one.
I have been spending alot of time with my husband. We went to Ottawa to see Whistler Chick and the new baby. He is 3 months and growing. It was a blessing to see him.
I take one day at a time,
Remember you never know just what is around the corner. My life has changed so much.
I am now wearing a wig (I cried when my husband shaved my head, but it feels so much better.)

I hope you are ok Tara I think of you often.

If possible, try to eat some watermelon, is cool for your stomach and will hydrate you as well.
Re read your first post....my hair started falling out after 2 weeks of starting chemo and now growing back, shaved it all off once I started to resemble Gollum :biggrin:, since I had ovarian and got the ovaries etc. removed, I have been having hot flashes like crazy and a bald head wasn't too bad.

oh Horndogg thanks for updating us. I am very happy that round 2 is a bit easier for you. It is great that you are spending some time out and about and I'll bet the wig looks perfectly fine. All the best.

Don't worry about hair, they will return, better than before. I bought a wig and wore it only one time, getting used to having hair again :D

Horndogg I'm so glad you took some time to drop in and let us know how you are doing. I'm really happy to hear that this latest round is going a lot easier on you as well, that's great. That's wonderful that you are spending time with your husband, cherish each moment. My treatment is ending a week tomorrow and I'm quite excited. I continue to keep you in my thoughts as you press forward in your journey.

Hi I had Chemo on Tuesday of this past week, boy am I sick, still!

The Drs hit me hard this time, it was as bad as the first time.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving, my daughter is staying with me to help out.

Horndogg thanks for checking in. I'm sorry to hear that the chemo wasn't fun. Though I don't think it's suppose to be. But it really should be if we have to go through it, don't you think? :)

Hi everyone. Last time I was on here I was sick, for the last 2 weeks.
Yesterday I started round 2 of Chemo, it is every Monday for about 2 hrs. i am not as sick this time, this Chemo will go till January when I will be headed for London for Radiation.

I hope everyone is well. our daughter is still here to help which is great she is such a big help. I am so tired all of the time, thank goodness we have movies to fall asleep to! Take care and God bless you all.
