Cracked my iPad screen

While at Disney last year, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy Tab while accessing a Lines app. Cracked. A few weeks ago, dropped my phone at work. It was all carpeted, but for a narrow bit of tile around the edges, of course it landed on that. BADLY cracked, but it had a screen protector so it's not sharp, and it still works. The following week, on the way home from losing my wallet, DS was carrying DH's phone. Tripped on the sidewalk. Cracked! Still works too. $160 to fix, so we're not doing that.

The only device we still have that is not cracked is my five year old Samsung Galaxy that I replaced last year, with the new one that I later cracked.

Maybe my family is not responsible enough for electronics!

If you want to.you can buy new screen from China and replace it yourself..there are plenty of youtube vds with instructons.

bummer! don't be too hard on yourself accidents happen. ipods and iphones sometimes go through the wash etc. like I've found out. Can apple fix this for you on warranty?

Probably not ..as physical damage is usually not covered.

they might fix it, but at a very high cost..almost as expensive as buying a new one

Sorry this happened to you! I won two ipad minis last year and the second day I had them, dropped mine. It wasnt cracked by the screen was really messed up. I took t the apple store, and Usually they will not replace it if you drop it but I guess they felt bad, so the gave me a new one. Now I have a really sturdy case for it.
