It’s best to buy a cat for such things. And the cat is good for itself.

My cat is useless to catch a mouse. We have had one for the past few weeks in our kitchen near the back door. Vader the kitty would come when she heard the mouse - e.g. crinkling a bag - but then she would just watch.

We used the wooden traps with peanut butter, as well as the sticky paper - both under the stove, which has always worked. We can't put them elsewhere because the cat would get hurt.

Finally, two days ago the mouse got caught!

Hoping you have success soon, Linda!

I hope they worked. That mouse or mice have been there a long time now. Might be breeding. If they aren't gone soon you might want to get an exterminator before it gets worse.
