that is the sad real truth about many many comedians. They are genius on stage, they present an aura of happiness, but inside they are very very dark, in a bad place often.

I loved all his work- comedic and dramatic. It is so tragic! Some of my favourite movies star Robin Williams. To add a bit of fun to a tragic thread, in 3 different schools that I visited, children thought I was MRS. DOUBTFIRE!

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe it..Mork and Mindy...Mork... so sad, did Phillip Seymour Coffman pass away this weekend or lately, I missed that too. Crazy...
I have given this some thought when Lindsay Lohan was on OPRAH Network, they are real people, pretending all their lives to be various people in roles and from some of the actors I see on like Saturday Night Live for example they are so outgoing and seem so natural and when they are interviewed by themselves several of them seem to be introverts and don't know how to be themselves. There has to be some reason to escape to become an actor or artist. To express themselves through other ways. So I am certain they struggle with the same issues we do and all the fake stuff and chaos and their lives changing every day, one day you're in and one day you're out or too old. Yikes..if you are not made of tefflon or don't know who you are that is a mess waiting to happen. It is difficult trying to find yourself in day to day let alone living in a pretend world and pretend friends and not being close to family and so on.. I just told DH and he said he knew he heard it while I was resting and they said his new show (The crazy ones) was not picked-up. I liked that show. So sad. He will always be Mork to me.
Thanks for sharing Lynn49.
