I have a keurig and for the past three and half months it's difficult to find tea pods! I checked Canadian Tire, 2 locations, and find loads of coffee pods and not tea. Walmart the same. I plan on checking Super Store and Home Outfitters too. Anyone else running into this problem? I don't' own a car and if I find tea, I'm loading up lol!

I'm considering buying that extra piece for the keurig so you can use loose tea leaves and make your own. I haven't ordered from the Keurig website yet.

I've seen them at Staples which is kind of an unexpected location.

Maybe the teas are not a hot seller in stores but online? Home Outfitters sells Keurig and doesn't Future Shop too? Seem the usual places that sell the appeal of "personal" cups of coffee on demand.

I even noticed in a healthcare office's waiting room, one of these machines is available for patients to make their own drink while waiting to see the doctor.

Why pay for tea pods? I put a teabag in the POD holder, close the lid and press the button. Perfect tea every time.

Of course, I also bought the "My K-Cup" insert and I use that most of the time instead of buying coffee pods. Just put in a couple of teaspoons of good coffee and enjoy the savings.

That's my tip of the day...

I use the refillable (generic brand) k-cups. I think Dollarama or Walmart had/has some. I got mine from Kitchen Stuff Plus.

That's a great price! The other bonus of using the My K Cup insert is that it is so much more environmentally friendly than throwing out all the disposable plastic cups.

I have a keurig and I haven't had any problems finding the little cups..Costco has a couple of brands 100 for $38? Or 80 decaf for around the same price..my independent..I also have the little filter that goes inside and you put your own coffee, I use this all the time..and I also do the same thing as Linda Evans if I want tea, I use the Keurig as a kettle and use the boiling water and put the tea in a cup...

I don't have one of these machines, but my sister-in-law does, so I always have my eye out for sales on tea, which is all she drinks.

Not sure if there is a Metro near you, but that is where I have found some. They will sometimes have ones discounted to clear and the deals are pretty good. Keep an eye out for them at Metro!
