Burlington Public Library explains how to borrow an e-book from partner libraries (HPL, MPL, London & Ottawa PLs)
I have to try accessing an Ottawa PL e-book if the OverDrive system is working! French author is hard to find out here in the PL catalogues!
-
If you have registered your Hamilton Public Library card at Burlington Public Library for reciprocal borrowing privileges,
as of July 13 you will be allowed to borrow up to 100 items (books, dvds, etc.)! Before, reciprocal cards were restricted to 8 items only and no electronic access (aside from checking one's account).
There will be no access to electronic items (though I believe access to BPL e-books as of April 2020 remains ongoing to HPL,MPL ,London and Ottawa library cardholders) on the BPL site.

HPL offers free vaccination passport printing and lamination as of today at all branches.

Just checked the latest updates re: COVID-19 protocols at Hamilton Public Library.
Spotted a new-to-me rule about what happens if customer does not return overdue library items on time (as of March 1, 2022):
[QUOTE]Do I need to bring back my library items?
Yes. Please return all library materials on the due date or when they are no longer renewable. As of March 1, 2022, members will have a block-to-more-borrowing placed on their library account for overdue materials not returned. Materials can be returned into any of the drop boxes at HPL’s 23 branches./QUOTE]
