Cashier's thinking is total nonsense. How that coupon can be used only on OB if it excludes cigarettes? You could point to the fine print on the coupon and tell him (her) that OB doesn't produce cigarettes.

I used my coupon a few weeks ago without any issue. The cashier had seen the coupon before and processed it without any problem.

Shoppers is giving me hard time. I have worst luck with cashiers. I pointed everything but they keep telling its $5 off O.b tampons.

Does shoppers give gift card for returns?

I am thinking, I should buy tampons with coupon and then return it, anyone think it will work?

I would call h.o. they can send a quick message to the store manager and they can advise staff of the coupon

I was given a hassle too. After the cashier told me I had to use it on tampons, and I pointed out that I didn't, she stood there and read every word on the coupon. Then, she finally seemed satisfied and tried to use it. Apparently, the PLU didn't ring through, so she called her supervisor. The supervisor wouldn't come to the front to see the coupon herself, so the cashier had to read every word of it to her over the phone. Then they decided that I couldn't use it because there was no redemption address, even though it was an SDM coupon. This all took a good five or six minutes, with a line up behind me. So she refused my coupon saying, "yeah, apparently we've been having trouble with this all day!" And I was like, 'the only problem is that you won't take it'.
