Does anyone remember what company sends you the barcode scanner to scan your groceries. I was talking to a friend today and she's interested in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Nielsen Homescan. There's an ongoing invite on Opinion Outpost to that site & Pinecone if you are a member of OO.
Homescan is really time-consuming and low payment, I wouldn't recommend it.
Nor would I....I agree the time vs. reward is not good.
agreed, I did it once for almost a year I gave up as it was such a insane amount of work. Worst part is I never once received any reward for doing it.
What was the whole point of this company? To get as many barcodes into their system?
I'd guess it's to determine consumer purchasing patterns for marketing purposes.Quote:
