^ I guess you have to look at it as a specialty product since it's for those who are lactose intolerant.
For example, the 12 pack is $6 where I got mine - so that's 50 cents each.
When I have dairy, I have to take two extra-strengh Lactaid pills (dose is different for different people) - which costs about 50 cents every time. With this yogurt, that cost is included in the container.
