Kids To Kids Sale

Last Sat. morning ( not yesterday) a friend of mine who went on vacation to Calgary texted me to find out if I was going to the kids to kids sale at the Brampton Fairgrounds. I was so happy for the reminder and I told her yes. I jumped out of bed, got ready & asked DH who was making brekky to watch DS ( he was still asleep) for about 2 hrs. It was my first time going to this sale and it's more organized than the mom to mom sale though there is no opportunity to haggle prices, you pay the price that you see on the items. Well I spent $30 and got all brand name pieces, Carter's, MEC, Osh Kosh, Gap Kids, Children's Place etc. the most expensive item I bought was a harness/leish $4( tired of running after DS when I'm shopping & decide to give him a break from the stroller ; wish me luck there are no tantrums when I use this). The items were excellent condition and I saved us a lot of $$$.DS is pretty much set for fall/ winter (I'll get him new boots today at Sears liquidation-I hear they have a good variety for $9.72) Even though I still did not find a wagon, sleigh or toy drum set, I am glad to find such quality items(still in awe about some nice fleece pants i found) so reasonably priced ... and if I don't say it, nobody knows that they were previously worn. I also got a goody bag that included a NB pack of Pampers Diapers (I'll gift this to a friend), various cpns( laundry soap, formula, diaper etc) & a 6 pk Pampers wipes.

I go to these sales all the time here in Regina. Its pretty much 99% of where I get DS clothes from. There are about 5-6 twice a year here. Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. I also consign in one of these types of sales. The one a consign at and work for just happened yesterday actually!

Great deal. I did the same when my kids were young. As long as it's in amazing like new condition no one would no it was used. Wish my sister would do this but she is scared of bugs. Oh well. It's her choice. But I have to resist the deals I see on lots of clothing that is gently used for a steal.
