New Dishwasher Brag

Our dishwasher is on its last leg, 18 years. DH went looking for one. Found a Frigidaire one at Sears on sale for $499, regular $750. Guy would not give a better deal on it and would not give free shipping. So DH went to Corbeil to price match and got free shipping. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all dishwashers does not come with an installation kit. Corbeil sells it for $17. Sears sells it for $12. So DH goes back to Sears to buy the kit and was served by another guy. The other guy comes by and says ,"Weren't you here yesterday?" DH says, "Yep", paid and left.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall and listen to their conversation. Did DH buy from another salesman there or another store?

Sears really did not do that deal well. Ooops.

I am surprised because we had some good negotiations with Sears in the past. It's too bad they treated you DH so badly. Well. Their loss.

Awesome job on the dishwasher. I've never had one but with this freaking allergy, DH is having one put in for me. Now if I can only boost that to a new kitchen
