did some grocery shopping today before dh had to work. (ds1 didn't have school today so we all went.) dh bought 2 ninja turtle action figures on sale at Walmart to give to the toy drive at work (casey jones and neutralizer because we figured most people who donate ninja turtles would give the turtles and figured someone might like some variety). we also got the kids each a ninja turtles themed book (ds1's is a coloring/activity/sticker book ds2' is a cardboard book that comes with suction cup ninja turtles toys he can stick on the book pages or other smooth surfaces like windows/mirrors...)

I am about to go make a pizza for lunch.

Here are my goals for the weekend:

1) Count how many presents I have (I am pretty sure I have more than 25 for my buddy so need to bundle some up)
2) Wrap the gifts and label them day by day
3) Find a box that's big enough to fit everything in
4) Continue on finishing my hobby so that I can send it off to my buddy

Did I leave out anything?

Buddy, do you have a preference of getting your wishlist first or a mix of random gifts and wishlist items along the way?

I have one more gift to buy buddy - lucky #13....hmmm what to do?
Here is a pic of some of the gifts already wrapped - unsure if they will fit the box that I have but I'll have to play "gift tetris" once the last gift is in hand. Added a jam making pic too - good choice buddy it is delicious if I do say so myself!

I just counted everything in my box and I am up to 22 gifts, I still need to do the something Christmassy and work out what else I can get my buddy. So buddy, if there is one thing you have remembered since sending your wishlist that didn't come up in questions, what was it?

My box, while it fits everything unwrapped, is not going to cut it when stuff is wrapped and takes more space but he took all of my boxes out for recycling the other day (he even took the cats' "house" box, they may never forgive him LOL). Not sure why he felt the need to chuck it, yes its big, but it is in my office - not like he has to see it etc

My other issue, why did I buy items that are weird shapes. I should only ever buy things in boxes because they look prettier wrapped. So do I get little boxes to put them in etc...

Think almost everything was on wish list except for winter hats and scarfs prefer blacks or greys

Spent the day emptying cupboards & packing, taking a break then going to do some more. 4 more days, I'm so excited!

can always use more mitts/gloves, things to cover my ears (hat or whatever), black socks for work, caraby street peanut butter cups or the little one that come in bags (I get them at shoppers and is my addiction lol)
