So after struggling with this tree this weekend, I told hubby i wanted a bin of my Christmas stuff up each morning for me to put out so i wouldnt have so much to do this weekend. Well this morning he just happened to bring me up my Christmas village, one of my favorite things! Well I couldnt just have that. I decided I had to get all my fav things up today! So these are the areas of my house that are my fav! Thought Id post some pics
This is just the little stuff, I still have to dig out my bigger pieces!

i fought hard for a whole hour.
and by hour, i mean 20 mins that felt like an hour.
but i had a 4 year old begging me to open the gifts.
what could i do?
i would have felt like a bad mother if i ignored the poor little guy's requests.
...
........
ok fine, it was me.
it was alllll me.
i'm weak.
i cracked.
i feel so dirty.
BUT - i LOVE all of my gifts SOOOO much.
so so so very very much!
thanks lizardqueen! you are an awesome buddy!!
i will take pics of my goodies later tonight or tomorrow.
right now i'm going to punish myself by sitting in a corner - a corner which may, or may not, be filled with awesome gifts.

hey scbpooh - i love your decorating by the way.
i wish i could get into it like that!
my mom used to do a village scene similar to yours when we were kids.
you're making me nostalgic!
have you ever considered ripping or cutting a small piece out of the batting and putting metallic/shiny wrapping paper or foil under it?
it's like a skating area.
looks cool.

So I guess CP was playing games by switching days as to when my buddy would receive her package. It first says delayed and now arrived early.
Glad it made it to you in one piece. Yes, it was a bit heavy... I was overexcited about gift wrapping and end up forgetting to put my SC name until the very last day though (I think I literally put Advent Train Buddy for all)...
Buddy, I don't think you are going to find a name. But then again, I could have screwed up with my short-term memory. Ah well, it's my first package train, lucky to have you to be my buddy. Forgive me buddy for the screw up!Last edited by coupontime; Mon, Nov 24th, 2014 at 04:30 PM.

wow that is a lot!
We usually do a mini getaway for christmas instead of gifts and my family only do gifts for kids, my mum sends me money so we don't really have any gifts under the tree
Now we can't have a tree either, because the cats kill them

You are right... I opened up the box and still couldn't figure out who it was from. Do you know that there are 56 gifts in there? DS and I were pulling them out so we could take a picture and I was thinking "I am pretty sure there are more than 25 gifts" Well we decided to count them when putting them back in the box. I love how they are wrapped in so many different papers, it's so pretty. We are very excited to start opening them on Dec. 1st! Thank you very much, I know we will all love everything! I will post pics in the next post.
