Well finally back on the computer after 2 days of business and only using my phone.

Not sure if this was read anywhere else ( i doubt it) in Western Canada, but some scary events unfolded on Friday right after school. Some little punk brought a gun to Zoe school!( was reported over the weekend it was a unloaded bb gun that looked real) But still very scary when you know your daughter wasnt due to come home after school and for a split min you dont know where your child is! If she was gone from the school or still there!!!! I called her the second I found out!!!!She was going to a friends place and they were going to anothers friends for a sleepover Friday night.

If you watch the video in the link, Kendra is a sister to the girl where Zoe was sleeping over! Needless to say the sleepover involved cops taking statements, worried family and friends, and lots of questions!

That is so scary! I was reading about it on cbc.ca while it was happening down since we live in that area of Regina.

Counting down for my vacation but haven't packed at all ...except... My mom asked me where I put my buddy's gift (the trial-size Sensodyne toothpaste)! I think that's the only thing that's packed, but technically that' not even mine given my mom has claim her ownership already....

Julsie-pie geocaching treasure to me is pretty much anything to do with geocaching, but in this instance it is a travel bug which essentially is an item with a specific code on it that can be tracked as geocachers take it from one geocache and leave it in another one for another cacher to find and take elsewhere. You can set goals or destinations for the item - one I saw this year wanted to go to Alaska so we moved it near the Alaska ferry terminal in Prince Rupert. Another one wanted to go to Winnipeg from Prince Rupert so we brought that one home and left it in a cache near a trucking stop for the original owner to hopefully retrieve. You can name them and I'll name this one fallenpixels if she gives me permission and she can choose a goal/destination for it - I'll give her the code so she can check in on it and see where it has travelled etc. Good old nerd fun

so it's kind of like a traveling knome, yes?
