2014 Advent Package Train ~Start Opening Dec 1~

Morning all! Not so much tired here as we are cold stricken! 3 out of 4 of us have come down with the joyous winter cold within the last couple days! Seems like everywhere i look Im seeing kleenex in my house!

Would love to say Im in the Christmas spirit but for some reason im just not feeling it yet. I dunno whats wrong with me. Usually Im listening to Christmas music and shopping for the last couple weeks already! I have litterally bought 1 stocking stuffer item for DS, thats it!!!

sorry you're all sick - that's a crummy deal.
i bought one stocking stuffer for each of my kids so far and that's it.
we live paycheck to 3 days before paycheck though, so shopping has to be in stages.

as long as we aren't still shopping a week before christmas, i will be content.

Thats pretty much what things are like around here. Cheque to cheque, if that some weeks! Im mostly waiting till my Kelloggs coupons come in ( been waiting 2 weeks so far) and SDM redemption to hopefully get a good chunk done

Morning! Tired here this morning too, DH was on call last night and had a 3:30 am no heat call. Do you think they will notice if I curl up under my desk for a quick nap? LOL.

DH has been making fun of me for weeks because I've been watching all of those Hallmark, etc feel-good Christmas movies since early November. As cheesy as some of them are... I love them. It seems like we have something going on every weekend from now until Christmas. Christmas with my mom is on the 6th, since her and her new husband are going on a honeymoon for most of December... maybe I can fit in a suitcase and escape to warm weather

if i ever get the chance to watch tv, i watch one show - forensic files!

Working all day then going home to do some hair. Ive had a poopy week, my fiancee and I were supposed to move into a beautiful house and escape our terible neighbors but the owners backed out before we got to sign the lease. Thankfully our landlord is understanding and we can stay at our current place but what a mess.
I hope Im the next recipient! I could use a pick me up haha

you know, we have been looking to move for YEARS.
and i find it so challenging - finding the right place, being accepted by the owners, people that don't play games, all that jazz.
but what you've gone through is really bad.
i feel so bad for you.

too bad the people that backed out don't have some accountability toward you.
what if your current landlord wouldn't or couldn't let you stay?

I love the cheesy Hallmark movies!

Weekends are touch and go around here. This weekend we have a local coupon meet ( Beckie hope to see you there ), next weekend is decorating weekend, yes it might take me all weekend off and on!, Dec 6 we have hubby friends Christmas party ( not looking forward to this but I have to make an appearance (dont like being around these ppl very often, their lives revolve around D&D and RPG gaming!, lucky for me I managed to get hubby away from that scene somewhat) after that its just going to be whatever comes up!

that would be tough if you aren't into.
people that are into it, are SERIOUSLY into it!
maybe you could have fun with it.
every time someone says the word "game" yell out, "i love chicken!" or some other random thing.
they'll either want to get away from you or be too busy thinking you're nuts to talk about the games.

Oh neat, I didn't even think to look at the local thread... we are heading to MJ for part of the weekend but I'll see when we get back if I can slip up! It would be great to put faces to names (or usernames )

I'm 50/50 on Christmas spirit. I'm done all the Christmas shopping for the kids in our family only this year... about 10 in total. We all decided to get gifts for the kids because my husband has so many siblings thus we have lots of nieces and nephews. I bought all the toys at the Samko Miko toy warehouse sale a month ago so I got really great deals for brand name toys. For 10 kids, I spent $200 which would have cost me well over $500 if not more.

The other half of me is too lazy to put up the Christmas tree. I'm looking to tackle that after Dec 6th (as we still need the room for my DD's 3rd birthday party that day).
