So I decided to start the thread early this year.

Anyone wanna try and guess when Christmas super redemption ( Im not calling in Mega, because we all know that doesnt seem to happen anymore) will be? I was initially thinking Dec 6 but looking back at last year, now Im wondering if it wouldnt be Nov 29.....

I would assume the 6th since that's what it's been for a few years.....I won't be doing it this year since I haven't accumulated enough points.

hmmm, I so wanted to go and redeem yesterday since there were many sale items I wanted to stock up on but was too tired by the time I could go. I find the last few mega redemptions the sales sucked and I was hunting for the best deals to redeem for.

I find they have a good "electronics, toy" sale a couple weeks before the redemption. I usually redeem some points at that time for the sales.

I have enough points to make one big redemption and one small but i dont know one i want to buy. Lol. I am thinking about selling hubby's ps3 and buy him a new ps4. But only if i could sell ps3 before redemption so that i dont have to pay a lot OOP.

I hope it is the 6th as I am going on a bus trip to outlet mall in michigan on the 29th. I remember the last time I went on this crazy bus trip.. Left at 7am and got home after 10 pm. I could barely move the next day. So to try and do a redemption the next day would be a struggle.

I have enough for 2 maybe 3 large redemptions. I buy gifts for the adopt a family program through work. Even though I retired 2 years ago, I still facilitate the program at my old office. A former coworker introduced me to the optimum program when we did the Xmas adopt a family program together a few years ago and I usually save all my points for the. Last Xmas we were able to sponsor 5 families and provide the gifts, holiday meal and stock their pantries for January . The big redemptios really help those points go a long way.
