I'm hoping to get a sewing machine for christmas but I really want one now. I want to make quilts for my kids for christmas. I have the time since I don't start work until after Christmas. So... I would love to borrow one or trade for something else. Thanks for reading.
Have you considered going to Needlework on James St. N. and using their machines by the hour ($6/hr or pay annual membership of $70)?
Not sure if Sew Be It Studio is still on Ottawa St. N.? There website only mentions the Toronto location.
I'd rather do my project in my house but I appreciate the thought.
Was catching up on Hamilton Specator issues at the library. Spotted an ad that Rainbow Bridal (on King St. E. near Catherine not far from where former HSR ticket office used to be, north side) has this last week of a bankruptcy sale. Mention of sewing machines for sale. Don't know what kind (industrial, so longer body or consumer machines). No mention of pricing. A company is handling the sale.
Open 10-5 weekdays. Did not memorize Sat. hours.
Noticed in this week's paper that Nova Sewing is having a sale on some sewing machines-looks like some floor demo models are on sale.
