Great idea! I've been wondering where we could possibly PUT a tree in our new home. We do have one of those glass brick decorations. I always liked it. You're making my brain spin here! Hmmmmm.

Love this idea!! Last year was the first time I was not going to have a tree, the kids are older and didn't want to help, so I put up the tree, with no decorations(well just one, it was a gift with our names on it, I love it)...just tons of lights and an angel on top!! It looked great! The kids kept asking when was I going to finish the decoration, "I said, it is finished!". I may do the same this year!!
well first i got depressed - no tree, eeeekkkkk
then i realized my own situation - cousins cat had landed
here.
(cousin was homeless, and needed the cat to be somewhere,
since last november, was supposed to be for a month,
kitty still here and considering mice poison is now used there
kitty is not leaving)
i must not have had a tree up last year, but was thinking i would
this year.
but 4 yes 4 cats and only one tree, what would i be thinking?

I noticed that glass vases or containers seemed to be popular table decoration themes for LCBO Food & Drink's Holiday issue and other magazines with food sections. Totally missed the glass block trend-lots of potential on how to decorate/light or use one!
