Yeah I know that but this year Loblaw is more involved so the bonus $ maybe less than before. They even increase the GC promo amount to $200 for 8000 points.

I know it's a bit early since the flyer has not yet come out, but thinking about what staples would be great to get on Points Redemption day
I think I will mostly be getting stuff we need that we don't necessarily have much coupons for:

vanilla, shredded coconut and other baking necessities that I'll be needing for holiday baking

Juice Boxes for school lunches

The rest I will spend on food and other things we need. I did a redemption a couple weeks ago for a 3DS XL (on sale for 129.99) and a DS game for it.

woah i wish i could get one on sale. looking everywhere. if no other store has a sale until the redemption i hope to find one at shoppers and redeem points for it.(would suck if i had to pay full price)

Yay! I'm glad you started this thread, because this is my first big redemption (hopefully 95K) and I need ideas

So far, I'm thinking:
- Razor blades
- A few makeup products from: Benefit, Stilla, Smashbox or Lancome for my niece
- Batteries

Then I guess we will see what they have on sale in the flyer... Delissio pizza would be nice

At one time they were selling Beats by Dre headphones. Last year I got a pair at redemption for my son. I am really hoping they start carrying the Beats Pills speaker this time.

I have enough for 6 redemptions at the top level so I will need to start working on my lists soon. Most of it will be a bit of electronic and mostly food.

What I will not get is: shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, toothpaste, deodorant, toothbrushes, soap, razors, body washes, shaving cream, feminine products, detergent, dishwashing liquid as I am already stocked up in these.

I thought about redeeming for a laptop or tablet. Can you return electronic items if you use points? I imagine they come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty?

Ahah.. Yeep. I started in June and I've already used 2 x $200 redemptions. So I'm really hoping for greater then $200 on all 5. That would shift my savings factor into even more fanciful territory. lol

P.s. My Birthday's near the end of May, so my 1 year aniversary and Birthday points are a long ways off yet.

I'm scared they will put me on the naughty list though.
