First let me apologize for not having any pictures of the mass amount of stuff that got donated. The reasoning for this is there was just soo much stuff that once we got it loaded into DH's super large cargo van, and then unloaded to the foodbank it was just not something I was thinking about. DH had to take a day off work specifically just so we could take his work van as it would of taken like 5 trips or something ridiculous in a car.

It took us 6 months worth of collecting to get this amount. I've done a lot of donations in the past (some of you might remember my brags about them) but nothing of this size. Normally I would just get a few items here or there and then donated them all at the end of the year so it seemed like a lot but this time we had the intent on getting as much as we could to donate. Its crazy when you set your mind to something just how much you can get.

The tax receipt below is at sale prices. Imagine how much everything would have been if I paid full price!

Here is a list of everything that got donated:
    20 Hawaiian Punch Juice Bottles
    13 Toothbrushes
91 Dog Treats (Food banks can use these items too as people who fall on hard times sometimes have pets, nevermind what CSM's at Walmart tell you ... long rant short)
    531 Toothpaste, assorted kinds
    11 BBQ Sauce
    68 Dove 4-Pack Soaps
    42 Cans of Tuna
1522 Assorted Tampons, Pads, Pantiliners (you read that number right!)
    3 Similac Mom
    100 Chef Boyardee
    1 Kraft Chocolate Peanut Butter
    19 Carnation Evaporated Milk
    23 Vim Large Size
12'' X 12'' Box of various samples (not included in tax receipt)

Overall we are pretty pleased as originally they told us the things they needed most were personal care items, Tuna, and shelf stable milk.

How kind of you to do this. Awesome that you get a tax donation receipt, but how do they get that number?

It was starting to get overwhelming the amount of stuff. I kept it already packed in cardboard boxes though and then stacked them all so that helped with space.

    Receipts as proof of purchase.

No pick up service as far as I know, we had to bring everything there ourselves and unload most of it ourselves too. Make sure you keep your receipts as proof of purchase/how much you spent in order to get the receipt and then you just speak to one of the head people there.
