How Perk.com referral works & what it pays (hint very little)
Just an FYI - unlike some programs where you make your money from finding referrals, perktv pays just 50 cents if you find someone, they join, earn enough to cash out, so if people are recommending PerkTv to try to get referrals.
That said, 50 cents is 50 cents, nice to have.
I have 5 phones that I bought in the States - the last 2 I bought were $9.99 each (can you imagine! you won't see that in Canada, sadly)
they run pretty much 24/7 - except for 1 that I also use for the Swagbucks apps, so its "perking" hours are less than my other 4 phones
I find each phone uses around 2 - 3 gigs a day (with low bandwidth enabled)
I joined at the end of September and have made $125 so far - I only started out with 1 phone, then kept adding them until I hit the maximum of 5 yesterday
the popup comes after 2 hours now (they changed it a few weeks ago) which makes it difficult for overnight - I wake up a few times during the night (not on purpose LOL) and reset the vids each time
the app trailers are the quickest so I start with those - then it switches to movie trailers which are longer (therefore decreasing your profit) and when that happens, I switch them back to the app trailers
running the phones that much is hard on them which is why I don't use my main cell phone
if you buy phones from the States, you don't need to activate them with a carrier - just set them up for wifi
the android phones need at least android 4.0 (or 4.1, can't remember which)
wow, ^^^ you still get app trailers? I haven't had them for two months now, not since my last update, anyway - wish I had them :0
Joolz - there was a new upgrade just this weekend .. maybe try that.
are you using android or an apple device? I read where the app trailers are hard to find on an apple device - if that's what you have let me know and I'll find where I read where to find them..Quote:

On the web site, on the account page I think, there's the option to have them text you a code or phone you with a code that you have enter.

Never heard of this app..sounds like a slow process not sure if I will try/ I do however use appnana and love it! :)
