Stopped in at superstore on the way home. Dh found a super hot deal on pc goat cheese, had,to buy in sets of 2 of each flavour, 300 gram size. On special for $2'when you buy 2 of each,flavour. Bought 2 plain, 2 blueberry coated and 2 herb coated. Reg price is $6.99. Expiry is march 2015. Don't know why it is on sale.. Too bad I don't have an offer for self serve deli cheese this week!

On a unhappy note as someone previously mentioned pink stickers are now 30% off instead of 50% ... what is up with that.

i read another post yesterday saying that they are no longer allowed to go over 30% discount with pink stickers. Sure enough when we were there tonight the stickers we saw were 30% off this was in the salad area on the salad clamshells which were always 50 off before.

Ah that sucks! If this is true, then it is a VERY bad move because I can tell you way too much food already get thrown out as a result of 'expiry dates'. Last week at Superstore, I saw all Iogo yogourt [not my fav but my bro likes them] expired so I had to ask assistant manager who actually threw them away in garbage at back. There were AT least 10 packs. I was told that employee must have forgotten to mark them down!

Actually, I find some discounts are much higher at other place like SDM. This weekend, I bought International Delight ice coffee mocha for 99 cents as a result of $4 manager coupon because it was expiring December 6...[already in my time]...I have never seen such discount anywhere else...

Point is: way too much food get wasted because of expiry date and these 'mark down' is a great way to prevent this wastage.

My mom said the same thing about pink stickers! We should all email them and let them know that we do a lot of our shopping there because of those pink stickers and that's just BS.

My loblaws isn't doing pink stickers..they have a red special tag and they actually mark the meat sticker price down..change the whole tag.I think it looks better that way...keeping it classy!

My RCSS had moved to 25% stickers now.
We don't even get the 30.
Very sad.
They renovated the store and lowered the discount amounts. Not happy superstore... Not happy at all!
