Good morning!
Busy day for me today, as long as my respective body parts can hold out...
Son coming for supper, so I want to make a big meal, some extras, and maybe some baking.
BTW, Target just announced it's leaving Canada... Y'know I never did get to ours...
Enjoy the day!

Good morning, everyone.
Debating whether to go to the grocery store this morning. It's pink sticker day, and I've been accosted in the past by rabid shoppers who grab things from my hands to get the deal. Ah, but I should go. Critters need a treat and there might be a sale on liver....We know where my priorities lie.
Wish me luck.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I don't have a pet fund but I'm thinking I may be smart to start one.

Good Morning All,
Dinner last night was quite good they actually do not call themselves a Buffet but instead Tasting so everything you order comes in small portions (usually 1 or 2 pieces) which you can add more if you know the like the dish or just order the 1 or 2 pieces to try. They actually have more Japanese than Chinese food but it is great you sit at the table with your tablet, order what you want and as it is made it is brought out to you. My bro likes it as they had sushi which he likes, and I even tried some and learned Cucumber and Chicken Teryaki Sushi is quite good, not really for the raw fish yet. We all agreed the food quality if much better than the last few times we went to Mandarin so now we have another option for eating out, it is a bit expensive (as are most buffets) so it would only be for special occasions.
Mom is supposed to go into No Frills today and pick up a few things we need that are on sale. I went into 2015 saying I was going to keep track of all of my spending but yeah that has not happened so I am not sure where we stand on our grocery budget I just know I am feeling overwhelmed when it comes to money. Turns out Mom's financials are worse than I knew and now her work has completely cut back her hours, she only gets like maybe 13 a week, she tried talking to them but no where so she is pissed and feeling used. Hoping this motivates her to really start looking for a new job because as of right now I have no idea how she will dig herself out and I am honestly trying to just not think about it at all.
Also tonight Mom is supposed to help me move some stuff in the basement, I think she is avoiding going down there right now but right now the basement is the key to our house clean up as I have a number of boxes that need to be moved down there and there is just no room. We need to get the basement in shape so we can start moving stuff down. We will see what happens, personally I am ready to just put a dumpster on the front lawn and go for it. I think my smart comments are starting to show my opinion as Mom was not happy when I made another comment last night about the basement stairs being blocked in again.
Hope everyone has a good day, I am off to write up some cheat sheets for our locations.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Well I am in Target mourning! I love the pharmacy and will now have to move my prescriptions..damn.I shopped a lot there, it was so nice getting over the top service, that is one thing target did right , I never left without thinking how pleasant the shop was from start to finish. Maybe Canadians are so used to getting no service in a store they don't recognize a good thing when the see it.

Ashley sounds like a great evening out to celebrate your mom's birthday with your brother. And the food being made fresh is so great.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom's hours being cut, it sounds like she is really starting to take a serious look at her financial situation and see the light as they say.
Good luck with the basement hope you can both get rid of some uneeded items and make space.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!
