Being a tech sales with engineer background, I would like to offer my expertise to people who need help on furnace, fireplace or air conditioner ( residential ). No sales here.

What are your thoughts on water based heating systems

Here's a thought....

• wake up and the house is cold.... no heat
• check furnace and you can hear it's working..... I vacuum the air filter to ensure it's not blocked.
• air flow is not coming out heat register upstairs
• call the furnace guy for advice and reset makes no difference over the phone. He think's it's the computer on my 8 year old two stage furnace.
• It's Christmas morning..... the computer parts won't be open until Monday.... That's another 3 nights away.

What are my options?

• how do I hook up my leaf blower to my furnace?
• buy some CO2 detectors with some electric radiators?
• considered moving to a hotel for the weekend (expensive for high season), but concerned pipes will freeze. I can see heavy frost outside my Vancouver home.
