I wonder if they will be like some Canadians buying stuff like crazy at regular prices thinking they got bargains in these locations.

This time last year, we heard the news that Target would close all their stores.
*sigh*

seems longer than a year ago.....
How it all fell apart:

SAP is a beast. It may have caused a few tears to be shed by yours truly over the years. Some data entry errors may never have been found in that program! Target's loss, Closeout King's gain, I guess. The front end staff there resort to old fashioned calculators instead of computer terminals.
At this time last year, liquidations started and some stores prepared to close Mid March.
What a difference a year makes.
This is a really interesting article. A fascinating tale, really. I read this article too. I'm just waiting for Harvard to write a business case on the whole Canadian Target story.
April 2015. All Target Canada stores closed.
On the positive side, Brands Gone Wild, Closeout, Dollarama etc. still have Target merchandise for sale.
Brands Gone Wild Oshawa is closing their current location and moving to a new one in the same area.

Can't believe it's been a year since they closed!
Still sad! My neighbours son is having a baby...just thinking about all the baby stuff that would go on clearance and wishing I had bought some of it to have on hand for gifts. Dollar is a little better...may have to head stateside for some retail therapy!
