I've been frustrated with MNBA and meaning to close my card with them for a while since Futura stole my rewards over a year ago. However a few things have been charged to my account on ongoing basis. I want to say 60 dollars worth of stuff a month for maybe 15 months...and I have just been lazy and shopping for the right replacement card which I found I think. However they've recently had computer hiccups at MNBA and have been sending me 0.00 balance statements for a closed card that was closed years ago mind you which I called about more than once now.

So I said just close the other card while you are at it. Low and behold I somehow have 50 dollars worth of cashable points on this thing...and I am not far from another 50 dollars worth. I never did figure out how their futura replacement cardpoint system worked. I was so ticked because I had cashed out 3.5 months before futura announced the closure of their program and that cheque was never mailed to me, so by association I was also mad at MBNA and figured they were all thieves. I have to say I think it might worth my while to read the fine print on their card. I don't even know the pin anymore I barely charge anything to it so I have no idea how I accumulated so many points unless they are generous.

50 bucks to be sent to me in 4-6 weeks.
