Crest toothpaste & Life brand Toilet Paper/Facial Tissue
Went to Pharmaprix/SDM today at 8am and picked up 4 x Life brand TP (our family fav even above name brand!), as it is on sale for $3.99 for 12 double rolls. It's an OK deal, not fabulous, but we desperately needed more insulation in the basement (LOL). I also picked up 6 boxes of Life brand facial tissue for $0.59 ea. Almost the best thing... I had an un-used bit card for $20, so got that for free. :)
THEN, i went back in to return my cart but also to shop for coupons. Well, I found an amazing bunch of coupons.... $1 off any Crest toothpaste from the manufacturer. Just last night I saw at Loblaws that Crest was on sale for $1.99 ea. I went back to Loblaws and was loading up my cart with my daughter's fave flavour/type and remembered a discussion on SC re: bonus pts @ PC for health & beauty and purchased in consequence adding in Listerine for $5, Ivory body wash for $2.99 and voila, I was able to get 15,000 pts for stuff I already needed to stockpile!
My bill was something like this: $55 - $20 (coupons for Crest), + 15,000 pts worth $15 = $20 net for 20 packs of toothpaste, 1 large Listerine, 1 large Ivory lavender body wash.
