    Hey everyone!

    I was looking to upgrade some of the light fixtures in our house... I saw on lowes.ca that they had a nice mini chandelier on clearance, for $107. Went to the store to see that it was made out of very crappy material and was very bendable - the box had already bent it out of shape.

    While we were roaming the store, however, we came across some clearance shelves they had sitting in the middle of the aisles. There were two other boxes, each with another type of mini chandelier. Both had been special order returns. One was open box, the other was not. For the open box one, they wouldn't allow me to return it if some of the pieces were missing. To make me happy, the manager gave me even more savings, in case I had to go buy extra pieces from the company.

    Original price for the chandeliers: $235 each
    On sale for: $50 each
    Got open box one for: $25

    In the end, I got both chandeliers for $75. Original price would have cost me $470. We already assembled the open box one and all the pieces were there!!!
