Thread: SDM Humour
-
Mon, Jan 19th, 2015, 10:50 PM #1
I had to share this.
I went to SDM today and made 2 photocopies. The cashier rang up my shopping and the total was 20 cents. I gave the cashier a quarter and she just stood there. She shook her head and said "Why am I just standing here waiting"? The cashier was waiting for my manufacturers and SDM coupons and SDM optimum card to appear. She knows me too well. This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart

You've been "busted" - the jig is up! Your "undercover SC" status is blown! (Can you tell I'm watching a spy movie?)

Now that was funny! My daughter laughs at me all the time about sales and coupons but in a good way. Maybe she will learn something!

I've actually been accused of being the mystery shopper many times at many different types of stores. I honestly tell them its not me but I do contact managers and companies when I encounter really great customer service (doesn't have to be me) or really bad (abusive) service. I also fill in surveys if they reward me and its always positive because I want the freebies.
Last two complaints were a guy working alone and eleven customers showing up around the same time and a woman who needed a break and the fast food place was busy.
I've learned along time ago to treat employees with respect because they will tell you about upcoming sales, clearance items and coupons. I remember politely asking an employee about a clearance bread and she told me to wait because it was being marked down in 1 hour. Now I know the exact time and day to get the lowest price for the freshest bread.Last edited by sirandrewr; Wed, Jan 21st, 2015 at 07:00 PM.

It's a very useful advice sirandrew. It'll definitely keep it in mind. It's another way of getting good deals besides coupons, sales, clearances.
