Hi Due to unforeseen circumstances I did not get my taxes filed on time.Can someone recommend me a tax preparer that is reasonably priced

You can download a variety of software packages online for free. I use StudioTax.

Another vote for StudioTax.
However, if you are uncomfortable doing your own, try contacting the CVITP http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/volunteer/. This volunteer organization normally runs during tax time and does taxes for free for people with lower incomes. While it is off season for them, they still may have some recommendations for you.
